About Fran Lugo
I help teams deliver what their hotel promises.
I’m Francisco Lugo. I’ve worked in hotels and wellness for around 20 years. Now I help owners and their teams see what needs to change, and then we change it together.
I started inside hotels.
I began in hospitality around 2006 and later led spa and wellness teams. That taught me to look at the whole stay, not one department.
At Cartesiano, the food, movement, service, space and team all had to support one another.
In December 2022 I founded GoWell. It now includes GoWell Hospitality, which works with hotels, and GoWell Magazine.
How I work.
I start where guests do.
I watch how guests arrive, what staff tell them and what happens when the day goes wrong.
The numbers have to work.
A good experience only lasts if the hotel can afford to run it.
Your team keeps going without me.
I ask questions and help people use the strengths they already have. That’s what I mean when I call myself a facilitator.

- I’m from Chiapas and work from Mexico City.
- I like cooking, travel, movement and animals.

- Fran Lugo is my professional name. My full name is Francisco Lugo Gutiérrez.

- I lead operations and guest experience, and I direct GoWell Magazine. Alma J. Ávila leads sales, revenue and finance.
